7:30 pm (second Thursday) It only lasts 1.5 hours and we have a wonderful
brunch for Ladies.
Brief
History:
1936, August 13 was the first meeting. Caroline Jensen was our first president.
Your father or husband needs to have served in the Armed Forces during
a conflict.
Goods/Services:
We donate to many organizations in need. We help at Manteno Veterans home.
We send girls and boys to the State Conventions held by the Legion for
the children to learn about our government. We also sell items and have
drawings. We help with the community affairs such as: fish fryes-etc.
We take turns serving lunches at our meetings.
