Herscher's 125th Centennial 2007 Souvenir Commemorative Calendar

The 125th Anniversary Souvenir calendar for 2007 is a special collection of Herscher town photos that span from the1900's to the 1930's.

What is the Souvenir 2007 Calendar
The souvenir calendar contains photos for every month starting in December of 2006 to December of 2007. Each month contains both national and local dates of The Village of Herscher events.

The photos in the calendar were selected and colorized by the Herscher Area Historical Society and range from:

• The first Herscher High School graduating class of 1904,
• Herscher Farmers lined up to take grain to market in 1907,
• Herscher Concert Band of 1918 photo,
• The first Herscher High School building photo in 1924

Special Emphasis of the Calendar!
During the Great Depression of the early 1930s, banks all over America closed in the international financial crisis. But State Bank of Herscher was able to weather the storm. The bank has been in three locations in the past century. This calendar serves as a tribute to the State Bank of Herscher keeping it's doors open all these years and has always been locally owned.

Local Purchase: It is available for $5 at State Bank of Herscher, Hardware Hank and the Historical Museum.
