The figures portrayed in this cemetery walk are the following:

County West Companion
  • Azariah Buck 1827- 1915
    • Mr. Buck was a delegate to the Republican National Convention that nominated Rutherford B. Hayes.
  • Peter Geiger 1821-1895
    • Mr. Geiger donated the land to build the first Catholic Church in the Herscher area.
  • Frederick Herscher 1839-1907
    • Frederick served the town of Herscher as Constable, Collector, Town Clerk and President of the Village Board.
  • Dr. Levi Wisner 1882-1973
    • He was very dedicated to his practice of medicine and spent much time walking to patient's homes along the country roads when the roads were impassable by any other form of transportation.
  • Kenneth Seeback 1910-1989
    • Mr. Seebach was one of the leading figures in establishing the Herscher Unit 2 School District in 1949.
  • Vernon Plante 1911-2002
    • Vernon was one of five brothers who served in WWII at the same time.
