Historical Society Quilt Show

The Herscher Area Historical Society Quilt Show committee is looking for quilts to show case the artistry and history of the Herscher Community through the art of quilting.

The Quasquicentennial Quilt, designed specifically for this occasion by 16 local ladies, will be on display, as well as a wedding quilt made by the Limestone Jolly Club, circa 1940, and donated to the Herscher Historical Society by the Shreffler family.

Quilt Entry Information
If you have one of the following quilt types, you should submit an entry form and display your quilt at the show. The quilt categories are:

  • Bed Quilt - machine quilted
  • Bed Quilt - hand quilted
  • Antique (completed before 1970)
  • Miniature (12'x15' or smaller)
  • Baby Quilt
  • Wall Hanging/Lap quilt

Fill out the following entry form (368 K PDF) and mail the completed form and $5.00 entry fee no later than August 24th to either:
